Never Have I Ever…read a later book in a series before reading the first book

I have the famous five and secret seven series (and a few books of Noddy like reading the 20th before the 13th I think, I don’t actually remember)
I recently read the mysterious benidict society book 4 without reading the rest of the books.

Yeah, well I kinda tried to read it.
So you see I picked up The Invisible life of Addie LaRue knowing it YA and I would hate it, but I sorta dnf-ed it, then I read after like a month or so and then finished in 2 hours, I knew I would be disappointed but I just wanted to read it to understand what the craze was about and I was not able to understand it, I was majorly disappointed and hate it.

I write one every time I read a new book (in my head😂🤪)

Not exactly hated but yeah like a 5 star turned to a 2 star (Alice in Wonderland, IDK why but I just don’t like it anymore)
