Bookworm is NOT an insult

Heya humans!!
How are you all today?
I hope you’re all fine!

So today I will talk about ‘Bookworms‘.

So I googled bookworm and this was the first result I got, bookworm being an INSULT, and I was like hold up, no way, and sometimes my classmates used it as an insult or in hindi as we say “किताबी कीड़ा (Kitabi Keeda)”.

Like yes I am a bookworm, and yes I do read too much, and people still use it as an insult, but I can tell, every single bookworm is proud to be one, and no it’s not an insult, it is a dream come true if someone calls you a bookworm.

So yes we are wretched to you, because we like to consume our time in better things like reading, which is much better than interacting to you simpletons.
We are wretched because we realise that there are much better things than indulging in your silly gossip, we know the world much better than you do, because we live in many different perspectives, we are open minded for we know how things are, and life in books isn’t perfect, it’s far from it.
We learn numerous things from books, even the fantasy and fiction you all call time waste.
We fall, we break and we get hurt numerous times, only to come back stronger, we learn to live, and we live to feel other’s pain, empathize, we learn a part of ourselves we never knew, we live as if we were the character.
All our daydreaming makes us better, we imagine and we believe and our imagination can get us out of many things you would never think off, we may not have social lives like you, and we may be boring to you, but we have way more interesting lives than you could ever imagine.

So in the end, bookworm will never be an insult, we are all wretched worms as you call us, who love to read to escape stupidity, foolishness, the corruption, the real life, but not because we don’t want to run away from it, but because we know how it feels like, we have felt the pain in every character many a times.
We choose to read despite our pain because we know one day things will get better, books are a safe haven.

So yeah bookworm is not an insult, at least it’s not for me, sometimes I think I am more than a bookworm, like I’m a bookdragon, or a bookhorse (I know this one doesn’t make sense, but horses are very fast, and I read a lot so yeah xD )

Chamach

Chamach, or more commonly known to people not from India as a spoon, is a very powerful object I got to say, even more powerful than the elder wand, the trident from Mako Mermaids (I’m quite obsessed with it these days xD ), or Riptide, wanna know why?
It has the power to bring old friends back together, and make them laugh (pretty sure that part was my stupidity, but eh)
So what happened was a classmate of mine (not gonna say her name) was explaining a topic to another of my classmate on our old class group (we are all in diff sections now😭😭 cause 9th grade is bad), and she asked about a chemistry doubt, so that topic was about mixtures (heterogenous and homogenous we were studying those in class) and usually we say adding a teaspoon to this much water or whatever makes it a homogenous (I think) solution, so instead of saying teaspoon she said chamach, so she was like add a chamach of this to water or coffee and it makes it this and that, and I was like (along with another friend of mine) chamach? Like dude are you okay, did you write that in your notebook cause usually we use teaspoons not a 2 chamachs of this and that to describe(she said chamachs, like thats not even a word, its chamach) (I just went to google translate and saw that it is actually chammach in english but eh, who cares).

So yeah it was literally by just a mistake she said chamach, but me being the crazy person I am made it into a joke, (it was even my hangouts status for DAYS) so from then on I spam everyone with anyways when we just repeated it like two to three of us, the rest of us kept laughing till like 10 minutes, ending the group’s silence and everything felt normal again (sorta) and I still spam everyone with it when everything goes silent, cause why not?
Even though it’s not funny for anyone, it is for us, being the crazy weirdos we are (or I am).

Basically it was the HP book series cause my lil bro started reading it (and irritating me A LOT about it) and the LOTR series for me, and till what I have read till now IT IS SOOOO FUN!!!!!!!
I can’t wait to complete it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Déjà vu,
Every time I switched schools,
Same type of introductions, 
Same type of people,
Same rules, 
Same nervousness,
Certaines choses ne changent jamais

Déjà su,
Of course I know things like classes won't change,
All first days of school the same,
All classes the same,
Il n'y avait pas de différence,
Aucun que je connaissais

Déjà vécu,
Naturally I had lived it all before, 
Every time, 
Every year,
It was to be the same wasn't it?
Ça a toujours été

Jusqu'à ce que ce ne soit pas,
Everything was different this time,
No going to school, 
No meeting friends,
No cribbing about double periods like a fool,
Tout a changé

Les choses ont tourné pour de bon,
Et puis ils étaient à nouveau mauvais,
Everything started to seem normal, 
We started to slip into our old routine again,
MAIS,
Ça a encore changé,
It got worse,
No offline school again,
Covid terrorizing all,
No friends again,
All of us dreaming of meeting again,
In the cafeteria hall

Les choses ne sont pas pareilles maintenant,
Like they were,
Some changes are good,
Some bad,
Don't know which one this is,

And how COVID-19 affected our lives, and I still don’t know whether it is a good change or a bad one……

“You’re just as sane as I am”

The freakiest words one can ever hear, “You’re just as sane as I am”.

So recently I was irritating my friend Priyamvada (who also happens to be an awesome blogger) a few minutes ago, and she was going crazy sitting at home and all, then I sent her a message “Don’t worry, you’re just as sane as I am.”

So she’s a very calm, cool, SANE and not so crazy like me, so she was sorta ranting on, cause school, oof, too much work these days, anyways, I just told her you’re just as sane as I am, and she went kaboom, so I’m just going to add a bit of her reaction (not that entire thing, no way am I going to do that).

So the funny thing, in this wasn’t how we went crazy or what, it’s just it made us realize to what extent covid is actually affecting us (if you knew me IRL you would know), so I am totally NOT going to rant on about how to keep it sane and keep us out of depression and how covid is totally DESTROYING our already doomed lives, I just going to say *realizes she forgot what she was going to say*
I’m just going to leave it here.
Staying at home is HARD.
9th grade is even harder.
And we’re all equally sane, so no worries, everyone is going crazy, even the most cool calm and collected ones!
