Hey people! So I wrote a poem which is directed to those specific people who expect me to know everything because I’m a scholar, who mock me when I don’t know the answer, and the ones who treat me like an answer key, they are just so infuriating………. And those teachers who pick on you when no one can answer just cause they don’t like you…….. Oh and ‘Je ne sais pas’ means I don’t know.
Je ne sais pas,
Am I the only one in class?
All those questions,
Directed at me when no one can answer....
Je ne sais pas,
When you ask me the answers,
Is it weird that I can't answer?
Just because I'm a scholar doesn't make me a genius,
I'm human you know....
Je ne sais pas,
No, I don't know everything in this world,
And yes some facts do surprise me,
That too weird for you?
Je ne sais pas,
Yes I do learn in class,
Is that astounding for you?
I don't have google in my head,
I can't possibly know something before the teacher teaches it,
Whoever the teacher may be,
Even if I know it,
I might not understand it,
So I do need to listen in classes like you do,
Not a super human people...

I'm a human,
There are many things I am not aware of,
It's normal,
Just accept it....

Do you find it annoying when people expect you to know everything just because you’re good at studies?
Judging books with covers that’s been my fatal flaw for ages!!
I mean people why are graphic designers there?? And why do authors spend so much time on covers and a new one with each edition? Like it or not most people are like me and it’s seriously impossible not to judge a book and most of the times the books are represented beautifully by their covers and sometimes they are not 😒 (I used an emoji!! Mainly cause it’s world emoji day).
Usually whenever I am browsing and requesting books on net galley and adding books to my TBR on goodreads I get attracted by the covers and the titles the description and summary is second (and I usually don’t even read it).
So this has been something I have wanted to talk about for long and I really hope I’m not the only one who does this if you do it too do lemme know in the comments! (Seriously I am obsessed with gorgeous book covers and innovative titles I am lured by them ALL THE TIME).

Hello humans surprisingly I still am alive! I know, shocking isn’t it? Did ya miss me? Well let’s just say life has it’s ups and it’s downs, anyways I had a Random Fandom prepared for days and I even had idea till part 5 but I’ll use those when I am desperate for now I’m writing letters to fictional characters. So I saw Nehal writing letters who was inspired by Akshita, so thank you Nehal and Akshita :D. And just a heads up the writing in italic is just side by side commentary feel free to ignore it.

Dear Dumbledore, Let’s get straight to the point shall we? I am not a huge fan of you because you are biased towards Gryffindors pretend that Ravenclaws don’t exist and always make the Slytherins look like the villains and and yeah ignore Hufflepuffs too (not a Hufflepuff so I don’t really care but heheh nvm), but I still am writing this letter to you asking you the reason why I didn’t get my letter. Ok I think now I know why you didn’t give me my Hogwarts letter probably cause I insulted you so much, nvm, just wanted to tell you that as much as I hate you, your quotes are somewhat really inspiring you know what forget it (I still am mad at you for not sending my Hogwarts letter you have no clue how much I waited for it. PS, it still isn’t too late, I might even forgive you for not bothering about my house and making Slytherin’s look evil. (Notice the might, I’m gonna lure you then think about it and then trap you and curse you after I get admitted into Hogwarts cause you DO NOT mess with Slytherins (also an update people I took the quiz again I’m a Slytherin yassssssss) ) ). Also I just remembered you’re dead nvm, glad you are not gonna lie McGonagall is a way better headmistress but yeah whatever rest in peace.
*Is thoroughly confused by the number of brackets and spends a minute correcting them. Then crumples the letter and throws it in the dustbin.*
Dear Professor McGonagall since you are a headmistress now so correction heheh I had forgotten that. Headmistress McGonagall, How is your day? I hope it’s been good. How are you coping up with having so many Weasleys in your school? Have Albus and Scorpius gotten into more trouble? Well you know I used to be a pretty good prefect and am used to silencing and disciplining rascals I could help you out (seriously I’m desperate, I would even be happy with staying in Myrtle’s bathroom tolerating her all day if I get to come to Hogwarts). I really would love to know why I didn’t receive my Hogwarts letter, I admire you so much. I even think that you would’ve made an exemplary Ravenclaw (why did you choose Gryffindor I mean come on, Gryffindor is a bit too chivalrous and SERIOUSLY OVERRATED, but let’s not insult your house (the only reason I tolerate it is cause Hermione and of course the Weasley twins I mean come on who doesn’t love them? I’m guessing Death Eaters but that’s beside the point)). Mischief Managed!

How long did you wait for your Hogwarts letter when you turned 11? Have you given up your wait?
Soo basically me and my classmates finished our VIVAs yesterday, and yeah they weren’t too great most of us didn’t study and take it seriously, so I had written a poem for exam prep cause my teacher asked me too, and now I dedicate this poem to them (and me).
To all the current members of “Apna kaam banta bhad mei jayi janta” (yes that is the group name, can you believe it?) and the ex members who left the group saying that they would prepare for exams (we all know you aren’t preparing drop the act yar) and to the members of “The ones who must not be named” (we couldn’t decide a name, but this is a whole girl’s group so it’s wayyyyy more civilized) this one is for you (not you Ritika we know you study).
Exams around the corner,
Worry in our minds,
Stop moving around like a mourner,
Go study or you’ll be behind!
You are a bud,
Which needs education to bloom,
Don’t fall in the mud,
And meet your doom!
Prepare and revise,
That’s what matters the most,
Exams are a blessing in disguise,
So in the end you can boast!
Study for your exams,
And they shall be fun,
Research the diagrams,
You’ll need to learn to be number one!

Heya humans!! How are you all today? I hope you’re all fine!
So today I will talk about ‘Bookworms‘.
So I googled bookworm and this was the first result I got, bookworm being an INSULT, and I was like hold up, no way, and sometimes my classmates used it as an insult or in hindi as we say “किताबी कीड़ा (Kitabi Keeda)”.
Like yes I am a bookworm, and yes I do read too much, and people still use it as an insult, but I can tell, every single bookworm is proud to be one, and no it’s not an insult, it is a dream come true if someone calls you a bookworm.
So yes we are wretched to you, because we like to consume our time in better things like reading, which is much better than interacting to you simpletons. We are wretched because we realise that there are much better things than indulging in your silly gossip, we know the world much better than you do, because we live in many different perspectives, we are open minded for we know how things are, and life in books isn’t perfect, it’s far from it. We learn numerous things from books, even the fantasy and fiction you all call time waste. We fall, we break and we get hurt numerous times, only to come back stronger, we learn to live, and we live to feel other’s pain, empathize, we learn a part of ourselves we never knew, we live as if we were the character. All our daydreaming makes us better, we imagine and we believe and our imagination can get us out of many things you would never think off, we may not have social lives like you, and we may be boring to you, but we have way more interesting lives than you could ever imagine.
So in the end, bookworm will never be an insult, we are all wretched worms as you call us, who love to read to escape stupidity, foolishness, the corruption, the real life, but not because we don’t want to run away from it, but because we know how it feels like, we have felt the pain in every character many a times. We choose to read despite our pain because we know one day things will get better, books are a safe haven.
So yeah bookworm is not an insult, at least it’s not for me, sometimes I think I am more than a bookworm, like I’m a bookdragon, or a bookhorse (I know this one doesn’t make sense, but horses are very fast, and I read a lot so yeah xD )

Chamach, or more commonly known to people not from India as a spoon, is a very powerful object I got to say, even more powerful than the elder wand, the trident from Mako Mermaids (I’m quite obsessed with it these days xD ), or Riptide, wanna know why? It has the power to bring old friends back together, and make them laugh (pretty sure that part was my stupidity, but eh) So what happened was a classmate of mine (not gonna say her name) was explaining a topic to another of my classmate on our old class group (we are all in diff sections now😭😭 cause 9th grade is bad), and she asked about a chemistry doubt, so that topic was about mixtures (heterogenous and homogenous we were studying those in class) and usually we say adding a teaspoon to this much water or whatever makes it a homogenous (I think) solution, so instead of saying teaspoon she said chamach, so she was like add a chamach of this to water or coffee and it makes it this and that, and I was like (along with another friend of mine) chamach? Like dude are you okay, did you write that in your notebook cause usually we use teaspoons not a 2 chamachs of this and that to describe(she said chamachs, like thats not even a word, its chamach) (I just went to google translate and saw that it is actually chammach in english but eh, who cares).
So yeah it was literally by just a mistake she said chamach, but me being the crazy person I am made it into a joke, (it was even my hangouts status for DAYS) so from then on I spam everyone with anyways when we just repeated it like two to three of us, the rest of us kept laughing till like 10 minutes, ending the group’s silence and everything felt normal again (sorta) and I still spam everyone with it when everything goes silent, cause why not? Even though it’s not funny for anyone, it is for us, being the crazy weirdos we are (or I am).
